The Notice for the “Fight COVID-19 Together, Research Road Have You” Activity Carried by Faculty of Materials Science and Chemistry

All faculty members and graduate students of Faculty of Materials Science and Chemistry:
According to the unified deployment of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council and the Ministry of Education as well as the requirements of Hubei province, the Communist Youth League Committee of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) decided to carry out “Fight COVID-19 Together, Research Road Have You” activities. The activity is aiming to execute the principle of “closed not suspended”, and encourage the graduate student to study and scientific research independently.
In order to cooperate with the CUG Communist Youth League Committee, and implement the arrangement of the university, all the staff and graduate students are informed as follows:

All the staff and graduate students of Faculty of Materials Science and Chemistry

3. Activity Theme
To achieve the purpose of the activity, themes for the submitted works of this activity have been formulated as follows:
(1) All Staff
a. Suggestions for graduate students on scientific research at home or the method to successfully complete the graduation thesis;
b. Suggestions for graduate students on research methods, learning resources and experience sharing;
c. Blessing on epidemic prevention and control;
d. Message to graduate students.
(2) All graduate students
a. Sharing the methods for research and learning at home;
b. Sharing the experience in anti-epidemic volunteer activities (such as community volunteer);
c. Blessing on epidemic prevention and control.

4. Activity Requirements
a. The word document of the staff’s work should be named by “college-name-title” with a life photo as well as the staff's personal information and introduction attached. If the tutor has been elected as “good teacher and helpful friend of the graduate student” or other honorary title, the text description can be attached. The template can be find in attachment 1.
b. The word document submitted by the students should be named by “college-name-master/doctor-blessing/scientific research/anti-epidemic” with a life photo or an inch photo attached. The template can be seen in attachment 1.

Students who participate in the volunteer activity can attach the video record of the activity and name it as “academy-name-master/doctor”.

After completely collected the documents, the faculty will publish them on the WeChat public number. Excellent works will be submitted to the CUG Communist Youth League Committee as well as the CUG Graduate Student Association, and published on the website as well as the WeChat public number every week.
